What do I need to Bring?

I am new and don't have a unit or group to camp with, what do I do?
First of all, welcome! You do not need to be with a unit or group to join in. There will be a dedicated mercenary camp for you which will be shown on the map as well. Please contact us with any other questions.
Is Food Included?
Food is NOT included with the purchase of a ticket, however we offer a variety of food vendors on site. See our Vendor page for more details!
What is the Bathroom/Shower situation?
There is a full bathhouse on site in the village with several showers and toilets. There are also Port-O-Jon's scattered around the site's camping area.
Is your event suitable for all ages?
Absolutely! However, the minimum age to participate in the fighting is 16 years old. Any minor attending the event will need to have a parent or guardian waiver sign-off. If a parent or guardian is not present, a notarized document of temporary guardianship must be supplied AT the event to Troll. Failure to bring the correct documents will result in denial of entry. What is your refund policy?
Refunds are available up to 7 days prior to the event. For refund inquiries, please request a refund through Eventbrite or email contact@thewinterwars.com with your order information.
Are dogs welcomed at the site?
Dalwhinnie Fields and Winter War are very fur baby friendly. A few rules if you are planning on bringing your little bundle of awesomeness to our event.
1. Dogs must be on leash when not in your tent.
2. Do not leave your fur baby unattended in camp while you go on shenanigans. This includes leaving them on a lead alone.
3. Aggression by your pets OR towards your pets will NOT be tolerated. Ensure that your animal gets along well with others, animals and nerds included.
4. If you leave said fur baby unattended, we will ensure their safety by recommending you return them home, with you, immediately.
