Winter War Site Map
*This year's map is in progress and will be released closer to the event!*
-
C-PAP USERS MUST BRING THEIR OWN POWER SOURCE/JACKERY.
-
Please make sure to exercise common camp courtesy at ALL camps. This includes:
Hail into any camp you approach that is not your own
Do no cut through the middle of a camp to get to your own without hailing
-
VEHICLES:
1. This is a primitive camping site, this means no RVs, campers, or truck bed tents/campers. Anyone camping in these will be directed to the parking field.
2. Reminder that there is NO parking on site. All vehicles will be marked this year and all parking will be in the field across from troll as usual. When getting gear on/off site be sure to be as quick as possible to not block roads or cause traffic jams.
-
FIRES: ALL camps MUST have a raised fire pit! This keeps the grounds from all the little burn holes.
FIRE SAFETY!!!
1: Fires can NOT be left unattended at any time.
2: Never cut whole trees or branches, dead or alive. Live materials won’t burn and dead standing trees — called “snags” — are often homes for birds and other wildlife.
3: Once you have a strong fire going, add larger pieces of dry wood to keep it burning steadily.
4: Don’t burn dangerous things like aerosol cans, pressurized containers, glass or aluminum cans, or add accelerant to a existing fire. They could explode, shatter and/or create harmful fumes or dust.
5: Keep your fire to a manageable size.
6: Make sure children and pets are supervised near the fire.
7: REMEMBER!!! If it’s too hot to touch, it’s too hot to leave!
